Tatiana Ermolina, the Head of the International Cooperation Department, presented her report to the colleagues at the annual meeting of the Russian-Chinese Association of Economic Universities (RCAEU).
During the meeting in Moscow, among other aspects, representatives from different universities spoke about their experience in conducting mobility courses. In that context Chinese colleagues mentioned the importance of including industrial partners in academic exchange programmes within areas of study, especially they singled out the fields of trade, logistics, foreign economic activity and of course language.
Cooperation opportunities and prospects was discussed in details with such RCAEU member –universities as: University of Sanya, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) and Beijing University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).
As a result of the meetings, Tatiana Ermolina notes the interest of Chinese colleagues in joint postgraduate programmes: "In China the number of students who want to continue their studies is increasing every year and Chinese universities cannot fully satisfy this request. At the same time, Chinese government restricts online education programs. From our side we will adjust to these requirements by strengthening both educational and economic cooperation between our two countries".
